Delivery

As a consumer you have the ability to select a delivery date which is subject to availability at the time of purchase. Delivery option's, associated delivery charges, and estimated delivery times are advised by us. Free standard delivery applies to the UK mainland only. All standard deliveries are based on estimated delivery dates. Standard means, the delivery is to ground floor, any steps/levels or floors may be subject to an additional charge – please phone the store for details.

All Product(s) must be signed for, by an adult (18 years and over) delivery and you should keep all delivery documentation and receipts provided for future reference.

Upon delivery you may be asked to provide photo identification such as a passport or photo drivers licence, together with a utility bill and the credit card used to make the purchase. RSM will also ask to take the product over the threshold of the premises and will not leave the delivery outside or in a garage unless specifically requested to do so prior to the delivery. If requested these will be left at your own risk.

You should closely inspect the Product upon delivery for any cosmetic defect before signing the delivery receipt. Damaged Product(s) should not be accepted.

You are advised to read the instruction booklets supplied by the manufacturers before operating a new appliance. Often problems that may initially seem like a fault can be rectified quickly and easily by referring to this documentation.

Whilst we, take pride and care when carrying out deliveries, neither we, nor they will be liable for any accidental damage that is not notified within a reasonable period.

When a Pre-arranged and agreed delivery day and/or time has been given, and then that delivery fails because there is no one at the address to sign for the Product, you may be liable to pay a failed delivery charge, which will depend upon the size and weight of the item(s).

We, under all circumstances, would advise to register the product with the manufacturer within 28 days from delivery, to ensure your manufacturers warranty is fully activated.  This includes any extended warranties being offered at the time of purchase.
 

Installation

Where a connection service has been requested, please note that it is subject to compatible plumbing and electrical services, as appropriate, being available and the service may be cancelled if extreme difficulties are encountered. Neither we nor our Specialists are obliged to provide any alterations or additional equipment of any kind especially involving carpentry or specialist electrician or plumbing expertise.  This includes the connecting of appliances to extension pipes, and electrical connections – in such cases an additional charge may be levied and in general any water extensions would not be covered under our installation warranty.

'Consumer Electronics ' Connection is 'Plug and Play' set up on LCD, LED, UHD and Plasma using existing connections. Please note wall mounting and aerial installation is not available.

'Electric' Cooker Connection is only available to existing official Electrical fittings.

'Gas' Cooker Connection is only available to existing official Gas connections, and would have to comply with current Gas Safe legislation and manufacturer guild lines.

'Dual Fuel' Cooker Connection is only available to existing official connections, and would have to comply with current Gas Safe legislation and manufacturer guild lines.

'American Style Fridge Freezer' connection is only available to existing official connections and for freestanding appliances only.

'Range Cooker' connection is only available to existing official connections.

Dishwashing and Laundry connection is only available to existing official connections.

Installation Note:  Notifications of any claim regarding installation issues must be reported within 30 days.  This does not affect any manufacturer’s standard mechanical guarantees or statutory rights.

Disposal

We do offer an old appliance removal service. Where this is required, details of the service and associated charges are documented within this site.

Delivery and Returns

RSM Domestic Appliances deliver to selected UK locations within a 20 mile radius of GU21 2PS, Woking. Where a customer resides outside of this postcode radius we recommend contacting the store on 01483 475000 or knaphill@rsmdomesticappliances.com to discuss the delivery options. Prices for all goods do not include delivery unless otherwise stated. All prices quoted include UK VAT at 20% where applicable. We reserve the right to refuse orders. Any return carriage charges will be at the customers cost in the first instance. On inspection, should a product be found to be faulty, then the return carriage costs will be reimbursed. We will gladly exchange products for "non-fault" reasons, but you will be liable for all subsequent carriage charges. All payments must be in UK Sterling.

Delivery Timescales

RSM Domestic Appliances will deliver all purchased goods within a window of 5 days. RSM Domestic Appliances will contact all customers immediately after a sale has been made to confirm the delivery details.
